The
National Entertainment Agents Council
is the best trade organisation for the
professional Agent whether he/she is full
time or part-time. Bookers and Artistes
alike benefit from the fact that all members
as a condition of membership are obliged
to adhere to the strictest Code of Conduct
within the industry to ensure that they
maintain the highest principles of ethical
business practice.
Since Employment Agencies no longer have
to be licensed it is in the interest of
both Artist and Booker to know that the
agency belongs to an organisation which
enforces a Code of Conduct on its members
which insists that all other aspects of
the Employment Agencies Act 1973 (as amended)
are complied with and that any monies
accepted on behalf of the Artiste(s) or
Client(s) are placed into a "protected"
bank account.
