Vertical

Specialist
Software house providing the Ace Professional Plus range
of Entertainment Agency Management Software as well
as other useful utilities and a full Bespoke Programming
service.
Scott
Adams and his character Dilbert (and friends Dogbert,
Catbert, Ratbert, Wally, Alice and so on) produce some
of the funniest comments on the Business World.
So true to life, and yet so funny! Stop by for
a laugh when you're feeling blue!
The N.E.A.C. is proud to be affiliated
to the National Outdoor Events Association. If
you are organising Outdoor Events you could do a lot
worse than look at their site as well as booking
with our Specialist Outdoor N.E.A.C. Agents!
You can also email
them for more information at secretary@noea.org.uk
Lots
of information on this site from British Actors Equity
Association, much of which is relevant and downloadable!
Fireworks
UK Website - http://www.fireworks.co.uk
If
you are interested in booking a Firework display, contact
one of our Members who specialise in outdoor events
to arrange it. In the meantime, if you want to
find out more about firework safety, CAA regulations,
and other firework displays, this site is the place
to go to.
Translation
Website - http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/cgi-bin/translate?
This
is very useful, if you need to read say a German website
this will translate the information on it for you. Try
looking at the Vertical Software
site in French!
Universal
Currency Converter - http://www.xe.net/currency/full/
This
converts virtually every currency in existence to other
currencies and is useful if trading abroad. I used it
to give the price of an act in local currency to a hotel
on the Maldives.
UK
Telephone Directory - http://www.192.com
This
is a free to use telephone directory containing contact
names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses etc.
of 42 million people and businesses in the UK. For a
subscription fee you can do reverse searches, ie type
in a phone number and find out who it belongs to. You
can also search international phone directories too.
Very handy and cheaper to use than the Telecom directory
enquiry service!
Answerphone
Messages - www.answeringmachine.co.uk
Fun
site containing hundreds of messages that you can leave
on your answer phone. It includes clips from TV &
films - "Of all the phones in all the world you
had to call mine" (Bogie), music clips "I'm
not a real voice, I am an answerphone..."
(to Queens Bohemian Rhapsody) and lots of others. All
clips are downloadable.
Interactive
UK Atlas - http://uk.multimap.com/map/places.cgi
An
interactive atlas of the UK with a search facility to
locate towns, villages, postcodes etc. You can even
find streets in London (Hopefully to be extended to
other cities). Brings up a map to help you find places,
could be useful to for Artistes travelling to gigs they
have not been to before.
If
you would like your site included on this page, please
send notification to links@neac.org.uk
