MEMBERS LOG-IN

This page is intended to provide you with information about the National Entertainment Agents Council, and how it works.  From here you can find information about the Council, its Code of Conduct, its Rules, its Disciplinary Procedure, its Structure, and the Officers who make it work.
Aims
The Council is a self help, self policing Trade Association.  We aim to promote the highest ethical standards in the Entertainment Industry using Education, Information and Self Regulation.  N.E.A.C. Membership should be synonymous with Reliability and Integrity. We aim to provide a medium through which Members can trade, communicate, be kept updated in current matters via Newsletters and other circulations, complain, confer & lobby for their mutual benefit.

Profile
Broadly speaking the Council is to entertainment agents what ABTA is to travel agents. It is a non profit making organisation run by agents for agents and all Officers are themselves agents and not employed by the Council. The Council is available to help with legal problems, give guidance on contractual matters, and, as our members cover a wide range of disciplines there is always somebody with relevant experience to help. We have a nationally recognised Code of Conduct to which all our members agree to adhere which, in turn, means that intertrading between member agencies is free of any worries about "poaching" or other malpractice. We publish a bi-monthly Magazine and produce pamphlets on such subjects as 'A Brief Guide to Artiste's Publicity' and 'The Anatomy of a Good Agency Contract'. Branches produce Showcases from time to time at which members can offer Artistes for selection. The Council is run by an Executive Committee consisting of five elected Officers, Chairman, Vice Chairmen (North and South), Treasurer and General Secretary and representatives from each of the Branches(at present Northern, Midland, Southern and South Western).
